A qualified Medical Doctor with diplomas in Project Management and Business Administration and an MBA from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). I am currently studying for a PhD (Bioethics and Health Law) at the University of Witwatersrand. I’ve worked in various hospitals in Gauteng as a trauma and casualty officer and as a project medical officer. I previously worked at Medscheme Holdings in the Medical Directorate and Fraud investigation department as a medical advisor and was later appointed as a Senior Manager for the Hospital Utilization and Pathology Management programs within the Medscheme Health Risk Solutions division. I’m also a surveyor for COHSASA (Council for the Accreditation of Health Services in Southern Africa). Finally, I’ve also worked as a Chief Director for Hospital Services in the Mpumalanga Department of Health where I oversaw provincial hospitals, Emergency Medical Services, Pharmaceutical Services, and other support services in the province.

I’m a founding member of Health IQ Consulting as well as being the principal for some of the Accidents and Emergency Units and serve as a board member for Carltonville hospital.
